Overview

This seminar addresses different topics in automatic control. For the current semester the following topics will be addressed:

  • Linear and nonlinear observability
  • Observer design for linear systems with unknown inputs
  • Nonlinear observer design approaches.

 

The seminar consists of a lecture part (about 6 weeks) followed by a take-home exercise, which has to be prepared individually and has to include a presentation of the obtained results.

Note: Preliminary knowledge on nonlinear control systems is helpful but not obligatory.
