Overview

The laboratory addresses the application of the modeling, analysis and design tools presented in the lecture Control Systems I based on selected application examples. This includes also an introduction to the numerics of algebraic and ordinary differential equations as well as the utilization of computer-aided engineering tools involving software for symbolic and numerical computation. The exercises include:
 
  • System analysis using computer-algebra
  • System analysis and numerical simulation using Matlab/Simulink
  • Mathematical modeling and simulation
  • Computer-aided control design and experimental evaluation

Homework

Every experiment / topic includes homeworks, which has to be completely solved and send to the advisor two days before the experiment takes place. This includes a summery of about one DIN A4 page using the latex- or odt-template. The solution files (.wxmx, .m, .slx) have to run on the PCs of the RT-lab (F-134).
